QSAI Internship - Summer 2021
I had the opportunity for the Summer of 2021 to be apart of Quantum Signal AI team as an 3D Artist intern. Throughout this internship I had the task to recreate roadside props for vehicle AI simulations as a third party company for Ford Motor Company.
The area I focused on was the downtown Saline area in Michigan. Primarily recreating objects while referencing Google Maps and photos I took myself.
Some of the biggest techniques gained was understanding the use of floaters, utilizing tools of Substance Painter and understanding the importance of naming conventions, as well as working in a team setting. From start to finish of the internship, I was able to refine and expand my knowledge with more efficient and optimal workflows.
